Channel Sections
Channel and brackets are manufactured to BS6946. All loading calculations are in accordance with BS5950. Standard Slot Sizes are 28 x 14mm @ 50mm Centres or 25 x 11mm @ 50mm Centres.
Standard Lengths are 3m and 6m, with cut lengths available on request.
The standard stock profile of Hanley Solutions channel is:
- PG = Pre-galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10326
- GA = Hot dip galvanised after manufacture to BS EN ISO 1461 (Other finishes are manufactured to customer requests)
- SS = Stainless steel 316
- EC = Epoxy Painted Finish
- PO = Plain Oiled Self Colour
Channel Brackets
Our ranges of brackets are designed to compliment our range of support systems, offering flexibility and integrity.
- Brackets are manufactured to comply with BS6946. All our brackets are manufactured from 40mm x 5mm or 40mm x 6mm thick steel that complies with BS EN 1011, with a minimum yield stress of 170 N/mm21.
- All brackets are 40 mm wide and have 14 mm diameter holes to accept maximum M12 setscrews. All bend radii are 5 mm unless otherwise stated. Maximum loads for individual brackets are available upon request. Bracket weights are indicated. All dimensions are in millimetres.
- Channel nuts and setscrews are not supplied with brackets and must be ordered separately. The standard finish for al brackets is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461.
- Brackets are also available in Zinc Plated to BS EN 12329 malleable Iron, rubber lined. Stainless steel 316 is also available upon request.
